In America every schoolyear is finalized with a yearbook. The yearbook, also known as an annual, is published to highlight and commemorate the past year of a school, often with a theme that is present throughout the entire book. This nice tradition is losing ground, however, for many high schools, colleges, and elementary and middle schools are dropping yearbooks because of the social media alternatives.
